Another one from the mind of Frank.
Yea what if they did answer like that?
Hello everyone! For those of you hanging out with me on the east coast, HOLY CRAP we are in the process of being buried. Which gives me a lot of time inside and downtime at work because my bosses don’t want to come in.
So I have been watching the Winter Olympics and caught the male figure skating. In case you don’t know a certain crazy Russian does not know the meaning of grace. I mean wow, you would THINK a FIGURE SKATER of ALL PEOPLE would understand the meaning of GRACE. Isn’t that something that you are judged on? So this was born:
Outlandish claims can now be your’s at an affordable price! (click to buy)
Speaking of affordable prices, I have spent most of the day moving my shop from the price gauging insanity that it was before to a new place that’s a bit kinder. Check out our spreadshirt store. That’s a bit more like sweatshop labor prices! (the only one working in said sweatshop would be me and my sister so don’t get all offended now). Yea awesome stuff!
I also seem to keep getting shafted by the official WoW site for their comic contest. March is the last month to enter and man I may be fresh out of ideas. It’s probably because I haven’t been playing (GASP). Oddly enough I started up again tonight. To commemorate I made a shirt I will most likely get sued for
Same drill here guys, click to go to store and buy it woot!
They are so nice they have a discount coupon code for St. Patrick’s day!
(ok I’m done with the self promotion)
I’ve been busy working on the escapist comic contest wherein this would be my actual job. I’d prod Cait a bit more to get off her butt and make me things. I’m also watching LOST and HOLY CRAP no questions will EVER be answered… I can’t believe it we have like 13 more episodes left and they have yet to explain a damn thing. I don’t think anyone really sums up the insanity better than Nedroid who’s drawing short things while the show is going on. Jess Fink is drawing her summaries while she watches Star Trek: the Next Generation for the first time. So much TV drawing. Frank and I are watching the Olympics and decided the interviews with athletes needs to be more interesting. Kinda like this (one of 3):
That’s all my updates, I’ve got a couple more olympic comics coming up. Yay current events! Vote for Cait and I on the various links around this page (I dunno how the escapist thing is going to work but I’ll let you a know). Oh! I’ve also become addicted to thesixtyone.com. Which is much better for indie and random music than pandora. Sharmander on there so you can track me down if you like. Currently addicted to this song. I will leave you with my current youtube addictions.
Johnny Weir ice skating to Poker Face
and an extremely offensive and wonderful parody of Tik Tok (NSFW)
Random idea again from Mr. Storey, since I don’t play first person shooter videogames.
I do have the shared sentiment that there sure are a lot of sequel games coming out that are rather painful. Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Assassin’s creed 2, Bioshock 2, command and conquer 4…. I’m starting to worry about all the unique ideas out there. I mean this could end up like the disney sequels. But whatever, I watch disney sequels at work when I’m supposed to be working or drawing for you guys.
This week I have a ridiculous amount of projects on my plate: wallpaper for webcomicsinc that will be a prize for a search and win thinger, the escapist webcomic contest, and its the last month for the wow comic contest. I JUST finished one of the comics of 4 that I’m allowed for the escapist contest. And I’m halfway through the wow one, which will be posted there and here next week.
Exciting! but yes my every other wednesday update schedule is just enough time for me to freak out and get this done so I’m very thankful. Peace out dears!

To help support the victims of the large scale earthquake in Haiti you can donate here to World Vision.org
or Text “Haiti” to 90999 and $10 will go to the Red Cross from your phone bill. http://www.state.gov/
Earthquakes continue to plague many countries that are ill prepared to handle these natural disasters. Victims of natural disasters did not ask for this nor could they prepare, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Um, I was featured back in November for wow.com
http://www.wow.com/2009/11/15/sunday-morning-funnies-belt-trick/
haha well would ya look at that…so much WOW FAIL on my end thanks guys!
Wow this year was nuts.
Well for me it was pretty random. I’ll remember this as the year of adventure, the one that I took off before I tried to focus on my profession. And in summation, it was completely worth it.
Big year for this comic too! It was the first time I tried to so something of regular updates (at very least have something up once a month…). I relieved my webmaster of most of the updating duties (I’m still having trouble with the mechanics and database work). And the wordpress/comicpress layout! Huzzah! Also the internet published thing
super goodie! The nicest part was making this a sisterly project. She will be posting more often once she has time and all.
But I am very thankful for all the experiences this year and the friends I’ve made. I really do feel that each month I have grown as a person, as have we all. Thank you for those who have stuck by me through the uncertainty and confusion.
Anyway! so the fun stuff. I’m on season 3 of Lost. It’s the perfect way for me to pass the time while drawing for hours at a time. I doubt I will make it in time for season 6 but whatever! if I go slow enough I’ll be able to finish it on my own time and still be able to enjoy the tail end with my friends. Here is a preview I won’t even watch to avoid spoilers. In all of my plane travel I was finally awake on one of the flights to actually watch 500 days of Summer and let me tell you, it was totally worth it (not sleeping on a red eye that is). I love those two actors and even though the movie was very stylized, it was actually a very accurate depiction of an unbalanced relationship. Other than it being an endless plug for The Smiths, I liked it. I also saw Ghostbusters for the first time in my life which is funny, sad, and great. I finally know where this line comes from. I even saw Zombieland before this movie. And finally I have fallen in love with Lady Gaga and all of her insanity. I swear this was playing in my head all christmas:
I will now leave you with some videos I enjoyed most this 2009
Happy thanksgiving!
I know just what you need!
Zoe Deschanel and Joseph Gordon Levitt in an awesome reference video from 500 days of summer.
And this caught me so off guard while I was at work
