hourly comics 2010

I know I took forever on this but I really wanted to connote the fun I had that day.  And now I am sick.  I really love this day and the project that John Campbell has created.  Seriously, my post and others at the forum for PFSC.  Peace out!

To help support the victims of the large scale earthquake in Haiti you can donate here to World Vision.org

or Text “Haiti” to 90999 and $10 will go to the Red Cross from your phone bill. http://www.state.gov/

Earthquakes continue to plague many countries that are ill prepared to handle these natural disasters.  Victims of natural disasters did not ask for this nor could they prepare, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Wow this year was nuts.

Well for me it was pretty random.  I’ll remember this as the year of adventure, the one that I took off before I tried to focus on my profession.  And in summation, it was completely worth it.

Big year for this comic too! It was the first time I tried to so something of regular updates (at very least have something up once a month…).  I relieved my webmaster of most of the updating duties (I’m still having trouble with the mechanics and database work).  And the wordpress/comicpress layout! Huzzah!  Also the internet published thing :D super goodie!  The nicest part was making this a sisterly project.  She will be posting more often once she has time and all.

But I am very thankful for all the experiences this year and the friends I’ve made.  I really do feel that each month I have grown as a person, as have we all. Thank you for those who have stuck by me through the uncertainty and confusion.

Anyway! so the fun stuff.  I’m on season 3 of Lost.  It’s the perfect way for me to pass the time while drawing for hours at a time.  I doubt I will make it in time for season 6 but whatever! if I go slow enough I’ll be able to finish it on my own time and still be able to enjoy the tail end with my friends.  Here is a preview I won’t even watch to avoid spoilers. In all of my plane travel I was finally awake on one of the flights to actually watch 500 days of Summer and let me tell you, it was totally worth it (not sleeping on a red eye that is).  I love those two actors and even though the movie was very stylized, it was actually a very accurate depiction of an unbalanced relationship.  Other than it being an endless plug for The Smiths, I liked it.  I also saw Ghostbusters for the first time in my life which is funny, sad, and great.  I finally know where this line comes from.  I even saw Zombieland before this movie.  And finally I have fallen in love with Lady Gaga and all of her insanity.  I swear this was playing in my head all christmas:

I will now leave you with some videos I enjoyed most this 2009

Happy thanksgiving!

I know just what you need!

Zoe Deschanel and Joseph Gordon Levitt in an awesome reference video from 500 days of summer.

And this caught me so off guard while I was at work

Whew, I know I’ve been totally MIA but I swear I’m working on something!  Got a new awesome screen tablet from my friend and I’m trying to figure out how to hook it up.  I wish I wasn’t so incredibly technically incompetent.

Christmas has come and gone and it would have been our third year of christmas comic if I had actually worked on it.  I’ll post it later in art or something.

New Years brought about some revelations I needed.  Accidental resolutions are the best, to enjoy the journey on the way to the goal.  I’m glad that 2009 is done, welcome to a new decade everyone!

New comic up probably by wednesday!

I fear the the interview part though.  Oh god they might find me! Only not…my email also appears to be down so I’ll be working on that as soon as possible.
